How this book got its name:
Have you heard the story of Mildred and Richard Loving? This interracial couple was married in 1958, which — at the time — was against the law in their home state of Virginia. After being arrested, criminally charged and banished from the state, these two began their 9-year battle to overturn anti-miscegenation laws in Virginia.
