There are 52 unique prompt pages, with 3 additional communal signing pages in our guest books.
WHAT IS A SHARED SIGNING PAGE?
There are 3 additional ‘shared signing pages’ at the back of each book. These have been designed for overflow (for large weddings, in case all your prompted pages are filled) or in case guests would prefer to leave a basic signature.
WHAT SIZE ARE THE BOOKS?
Each book is ~10×10″.
IS IT TRUE THAT EACH PAGE IS DIFFERENT?
Yes! Each page features a different series of prompts to encourage your guests to write unique messages on every page.
ARE THESE BOOKS SUITABLE FOR MY GUEST COUNT?
Guests can sign the book as an individual or as a group. There are also additional communal pages at the back of the book for overflow or in case guests would prefer to leave a basic signature. This makes the book best suited for weddings with a guest count of 50-200 people.
CAN I USE THESE BOOKS AT MY 'MICROWEDDING'?
These books were designed for weddings with a guest count of 50-200 guests; however, they can absolutely be used at ‘microweddings’ or smaller celebrations.
Don’t be afraid of empty pages throughout the book: if you wish, consider asking friends or family members to sign the book after your microwedding (note that not every page is about the wedding itself, some pages reference relationships and memories with you instead)! Some couples will also choose to have a larger celebration at a future date, and we encourage you to use your guestbook at both events!
WHAT ABOUT GUESTS WHO DON'T WANT TO FILL OUT A PROMPT?
The additional ‘shared signing pages’ at the back of the book leaves room for guests to sign openly without a prompt.

CAN WE SAVE A PAGE FOR A SPECIFIC GUEST?
Absolutely! If there are any page you’d like specific people to sign, consider tagging a removable note on that page saying ‘reserved for *name*’. Alternatively, you can ask certain guests to sign in advance of your wedding (for example, how sweet would it be if Grandma signed page 47: ‘Here’s a story you might not know about our own wedding day’)!
WHAT IF SOME PAGES ARE LEFT EMPTY?
Don’t feel like every page needs to be filled; it’s okay if some pages are missed throughout the book. If you wish, consider asking friends or family members to sign the book after the wedding (note that not every page is about the wedding itself, some pages reference relationships and memories with you instead). Or, if you’re having a post-wedding brunch ask any guest who missed the book to sign at that event.
WHY DO YOU SPELL 'COLOUR' WITH A 'U'?

WHICH COLOURS ARE AVAILABLE?
The Mr. and Mrs. Book comes in 5 colours:
The Dawson (white); The Stirling (light grey); The Mildred (navy blue); The Westley (forest green); and the Curie (slate grey)
The Mr. and Mr. Book and The. Mrs. and Mrs. Book are currently only available in white (The Halpern).
The Newlywed Book is available in white (The Halpern) or light grey (The Stirling).
WHAT TYPE OF PEN SHOULD I USE?
Fine tip Sharpies or other felt tip pens with a precise tip are ideal. Standard ballpoint pens will also do the job!
WILL MARKER BLEED THROUGH THE PAGES?
The coated paper in your guest book was selected to protect against marker bleed, so go ahead and use those indelible markers (e.g. fine-point Sharpies) and felt-tip pens for signing.
WHERE SHOULD WE PLACE THE BOOK AT OUR WEDDING?
Place your guest book in an ideal location for signing : on a table with plenty of light, and in an area where foot traffic flows naturally.
HOW CAN WE ENCOURAGE GUESTS TO SIGN?
Ask your emcee to announce that you have one of our prompted guest books and briefly explain how it works: ‘pick a page, follow the prompts, fill the entire page’.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY 'LAY-FLAT'?
These are lay-flat guest books, meaning the pages will open flat to facilitate reading and writing.
ARE THESE HARDCOVER BOOKS?
Yes! Our books are hardcover and wrapped with a soft linen fabric.
HOW SHOULD WE STORE OUR BOOK?
We’re hopeful that your guestbook will find a home on your coffee table right next to your wedding photos! As for storage, common sense is key: avoid storing your guest book under conditions of direct sunlight, extreme heat, excessive humidity, or contact with moisture.
UH OH...MY BOOK GOT DIRTY! HELP!
Carefully spot clean with a slightly damp cloth if necessary and allow to air dry. As with any book, you should avoid getting the pages wet.
WHAT ARE PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUNS?
Preferred gender pronouns (or, PGPs, if you will), are the pronouns selected by an individual to reflect their gender identity. Examples include she/her, they/them, he/him, etc. Our small business strives to be inclusive of as many couples as possible through the use of various pronouns and nouns in our alternative pronoun series.
WHEN'S THE LAUNCH DATE FOR 'THE MR. AND MR. BOOK' + 'THE MRS. AND MRS. BOOK'?
We recognize that not every couple identifies as ‘Mr. and Mrs’, or uses the pronouns ‘she’ and ‘he’. One-size-fits-all isn’t really our jam, so we’ve created 4 variations of our prompted guest books, each written with purposeful use (or omission) of gender.

WHAT SHIPMENT METHODS ARE AVAILABLE?
Packages within Canada are shipped using Canada Post courier services.
FREE porch pick up is available in Ottawa, ON. For this options, please select ‘Local Ottawa pickup’ at checkout.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PACKAGE?
A package’s expected delivery date depends on its date of shipment, the on-peak periods, and the location of shipment. An estimated delivery date will be provided upon checkout from our Bookstore.
DO YOU SHIP TO THE USA?
Yes! International shipping to the USA is now available (high five to our I.T. people)! Simply add your guest book to your cart and checkout as normal.
DO THESE GUEST BOOKS EVER GO ON SALE?
Sometimes! We only offer promo codes a few times a year, so connect with us through social media to stay in the know!
CAN I USE MULTIPLE DISCOUNT CODES IN AN ORDER?
Unfortunately, no. Only 1 discount code can be applied to an online order.
I HAVE A FREE SHIPPING CODE - HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Oh, so you found one of our free shipping codes, eh! Lucky you! This code is redeemable in our checkout page and grants the user free 1-way shipping within Canada. The order must ship to a Canadian address (excluding remote locations) and may not be used internationally.

CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?
Your order (including colours, shipping address, number of books purchased, etc.) cannot be changed or cancelled once your package is in transit. Please contact us with any questions.
HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
You’ll receive tracking information via e-mail once your package has been shipped.
For porch pickups in Ottawa, ON: you will be notified by e-mail when your package is ready and available for pickup.
CAN I RETURN MY PRODUCT?
If you’ve changed your mind about your guest book and need to return it, please send us an email within 30 days of purchase with your order number and the email you used to place your order. See below for more information on our return policy.
All returns must be postmarked within 30 days of the purchase date. To be eligible for return, your item(s) must be in new and unused condition and with no pen marks or writing.
To return an item, please email customer service at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll send you a return label for you to affix to your mailer and the cost of the return shipping will be deducted from your refund. After receiving your return label, please place the item securely in its original packaging; include the return form provided (so we know who you are); and mail your return through your local courier. Please ensure that the mailer is filled with the original shipping materials so as to protect the book during transit. Books that arrive in damaged condition will not be eligible for return.
We will begin processing your return after receiving and inspecting the condition of your item(s). Returns are typically processed in 1-3 days after we receive your package. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.

Unfortunately, The Mr. and Mrs. Book is not responsible for undelivered or lost packages once shipping has begun. In the event of a lost package, we recommend contacting your credit card company for a refund.
